Labourers for the Harvest!

Good morning Folks of GLBC,

In Matthew 9:38 Jesus says, “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into the harvest.”

This is a great need around the world, but how about our church as well! The Lord saw the need of the multitudes, but also of the individual. He was moved with compassion. These truths are in verse 36. He goes on to say the harvest truly is plenteous, but labourers are few. More can be accomplished with more individuals helping and getting involved. Many hands make light work! What exactly needs to be done Pastor? As we look in this passage the intended first thought is for those who have accepted and trusted Jesus should see what Jesus saw, and that is people who are scattered and cast down. We need to seek to help people come to Christ Jesus! He is man’s only true hope! But as we see needs in our church we should lend a helping hand. Also, you can be directed by me as your pastor to work, that needs to be done. Would you be willing to help in some area? Most of you cannot put extensive time in laboring in the church. But I truly believe many could do something to help get more accomplished in our ministries!

Would You ask God to use You in our ministries??

Friday Revival Service Tonight!

January 13, 2021 I want to give you some hope from Psalms 143. There are some encouraging thoughts here. “I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
