I want to give you some hope from Psalms 143. There are some encouraging thoughts here. “I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
David was inspired in a thirsty way toward God for the help he needed. God is always here with us and ready as we stretch out our hands unto him to receive from Him. We need to hear from God every day and certainly in the morning to be refreshed as only God can do!
We are having some Friday Revival Services in January. One this week and one next week. In the midst of winter it is good for us to have some extra help from meeting to worship the Lord and hearing Bible preaching. Bro. Phalon will be with us this evening. The service will start at 7:00. I encourage you to come and enjoy this time together. Call someone, bring someone, and bring yourself and your Bible!
Julie and I appreciate your love and prayers through this time. Brittany and David are thankful for your prayers and gifts! Please continue to pray! Nesa said they have been back and forth with hospital visits for Ethan, and he has also had a transfusion. Pray for his healing from cancer. Patty Sutmaier is doing better and Bro. John Bailes is doing better. Pray for Penny Locario to heal from Covid. Bro. Guy will have eye surgery tomorrow, and Virelle will have surgery Monday the 18th. These need our prayers!
We look forward to seeing you tonight!
