Gospel Light Baptist Church

We are taking all precautions we can to safely reassemble. We ask if you are feeling cold/flu-like symptoms to please stay home. We are also encouraging anyone who is 65 or older and those with pre-existing health conditions to please stay home and enjoy our services by live stream. We also ask that no children come without a parent. For the time being, we will not run our van routes, have a nursery, or any junior churches. Please read the guidelines below before reserving a seat.

Entering Church

  • Everyone’s temperature will be taken with a non-contact thermometer. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 will not be able to attend.

  • Someone will be opening the door for everyone so no-one will have to touch the door.

  • Everyone will be required to wear a mask while in the church building. There will be a person just inside the door handing out masks and gloves for anyone who needs one. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own masks. 

  • Hand sanitizer will also be available at the front table.

While In Church

  • We ask that everyone please keep the mask above their mouth and nose throughout the service.

  • There will be strips of tape on the floor marking six-foot increments.

  • Our church rows are prearranged in a socially distanced way.

  • Family units can sit together. Everyone else is expected to sit at least six feet away.

  • Individuals may sit two people per long row 

  • People are encouraged to talk to one another however, discouraged from shaking hands or hugging. 

  • The offering plate will be placed at the altar. Individuals can place their offering in the plate during offering time.

  • Restrooms use is discouraged however, we are prepared for anyone who needs to use them.

  • We ask that only one person head to the bathroom area at a time. 

  • People designated to disinfect bathroom after use.

Exiting Church

  • People will be dismissed in an orderly manner at the end of the service.

  • Ushers will escort individual rows at a time.

  • All are encouraged to fellowship outside the building in a socially distanced manner.
